DKI UM Kendari

KENDARI, AUGUST 10 — The Directorate of Cooperation and Internationalization (DKI) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari (UM Kendari) held a welcoming ceremony and appreciation event on Monday (Aug 10) for students from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK) who completed a 6-month International Internship Program in Hokkaido, Japan.

The welcoming event was attended directly by the Vice Rector IV of UM Kendari, the leadership of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, and the Director of Cooperation and Internationalization of UM Kendari, Titin Rahmiatin, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D.

In their address, the leadership of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari expressed their highest appreciation for the commitment and success of the FPIK students in completing the industrial internship program in the Land of the Rising Sun.

During their six months in Hokkaido, the FPIK students were directly involved in professional activities within the modern fisheries and marine sector, designed to broaden international perspectives and enhance graduate competitiveness.

Through the success of this program, DKI UM Kendari, together with the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, hopes to continue expanding international cooperation opportunities to produce excellent, innovative, and globally competitive graduates in the fisheries and marine sector.
