KENDARI – Driven by the vision to break geographical boundaries through education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari (UM Kendari) has officially launched a collaborative initiative titled "Join Language Class Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari, and PUP Cabiao Campus, Philippines." The cross-cultural academic program kicked off virtually on June 24, 2026.

This joint venture brings together students and educators from UM Kendari and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Cabiao Campus. Designed as a dynamic platform for linguistic exchange, the program aims to enhance participants' language proficiency while cultivating a deeper appreciation for Southeast Asian cultural diversity.

Fostering Cross-Cultural Synergy

Conducted via a virtual meeting platform, the inaugural session showcased strong engagement as participants from both nations connected to share linguistic insights. Beyond vocabulary and grammar, the program serves as a bridge for mutual understanding, helping students develop the soft skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global landscape.

The initiative highlights UM Kendari’s ongoing dedication to providing its community with international exposure, empowering students to become globally minded individuals who can confidently communicate across borders.
