Welcoming Program “Faculty & Student Exchange” CMBT Talavera Campus, College of Management and Business Technology (CMBT), NEUST, Philippines & Public Lecture 2026
Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari proudly welcomed the Faculty and Student Exchange delegation from CMBT Talavera Campus, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Philippines, on April 14, 2026. This international collaboration program was conducted as part of strengthening academic partnerships, cross-cultural understanding, and global educational engagement between both institutions.
During the visit, several meaningful academic and cultural activities were successfully carried out. The delegation participated in a Visiting Lecturer session and Public Lecture, where lecturers and students exchanged knowledge, ideas, and academic experiences in an interactive learning environment. In addition, the international students were given the opportunity to join classroom activities together with UM Kendari students to experience the learning atmosphere and academic culture directly.
The program also included a local cultural and tourism experience through a visit to Athifa Oleh-Oleh, introducing the guests to local products and traditional souvenirs from Southeast Sulawesi. Furthermore, the delegation joined the Cultural Immersion Program 2026 at Pulau Namu, where participants explored local traditions, culture, and the natural beauty of the island while building stronger friendships and intercultural connections.
This collaborative program reflects the commitment of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari to promoting internationalization, academic excellence, and global networking through sustainable international partnerships.
