International Academic Partnership Established Between UM Kendari and VNU-HCM University of Social Sciences and Humanities
Muhammadiyah University of Kendari has officially established an international partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The signing ceremony took place on January 14, 2026, in a warm and collaborative atmosphere, marking a strategic step toward strengthening cross-border academic ties.
This partnership aims to enhance the quality of education, research, and community service through various collaborative programs. Some forms of cooperation to be developed include student and faculty exchanges, joint research, international seminars, and the development of globally oriented curricula.
Leaders from both institutions expressed high hopes that this MoU will serve as a gateway to sustainable collaboration and yield positive outcomes for both parties. Additionally, this partnership is expected to broaden students’ international perspectives and enhance the global competitiveness of graduates.
With the establishment of this partnership, Muhammadiyah University of Kendari further reaffirms its commitment to developing education that meets international standards and building a strong global network.
